Best way of testing coaxial cables. (CB or TV)

I am fully aware of the virtues, and expense, of a TDR. For this audience who are not degreed engineers and just want the Telly in the camper to work, the method given for finding shorts and opens (bad cables) and the associated $5 cost and minimal training will work fine.

Impedance is not measured here. Only DC resistance. One person working alone, one measurement. That's all. The test equipment you speak off can cost more than a camper.
