Best way of testing coaxial cables. (CB or TV)

It's not a bad idea, but the presentation leads it to something its not. Even with what he's attempting to do, it's over complicated. You don't need dummy loads and barrels. A 100ohm resistor and 2 alligator clips, both available at radio shack will do the exact same thing.
