Best way of testing coaxial cables. (CB or TV)

A DVM won't give you a false negative test but it can give you a false positive. Since most of us don't have a TDR, it might be most productive to just use another piece of coax and bypass the suspicious one. But if you find someone giving away TDRs, put my name on the list.
