Here at our house I turned OFF the phone ringer... have no idea the phone is even ringing... It goes to answer machine and if I don't hear the kids say "DAD Answer the phone " it goes unattended... Then once a day I go through any calls that may have hit the answer machine and we missed it was a valid number with info for us... If not then I clear all the answer machine calls each day...
Usually all I hear on my phone caller ID is the city calling unless it is from someone I have a valid phone number listed in my telephone.
Actually the only phone that sounds out is the one in my Computer/Radio room...
When you get older like us you would think we would to hear the phone ring but too much is too much... Crazy world we live in now...
It does make us laugh once in awhile on how the CALLER ID pronounces some the city names...
