Well, GS did get back with me.
They offered to honor the original $300 sales price.... HOWEVER, there was a $150 "shipping charge" added for this 70# item (that's 50% of the price!).
I ask if they could ship it to the nearest Camping World store for pick-up, but they said there was NO WAY this charge would be waived. I declined their offer. I guess I should have offered to "send MY truck"(HA!)
