So how does the consumer know which items and thier availability? Is it the same items and availability at each store or is the item and availability different at each location? If the item is not available will CW offer a rain check so, when the item is in stock at the location, the Good Sam Club member can purchase the item at the on line price match?
I understand shipping charges if the item is not a typical stock item and is directly shipped from manufacturers to the consumer.

"They may charge shipping". CW does or doesn't charge shipping which is it ????

CW does match its online prices as long as you have the add printed out when you bring it in. They may charge shipping on it however so sometimes the item ends up costing the same as it would online.

In the past our Winchester, VA, has honored on-line pricing for items they had in stock.

Results vary, but it doesn't hurt to ask.

I bought an XL pool noodle for 2 bucks, cut it into 4 pieces, split it on the side and made my slide corner protectors. Even got a nice blue color to match the coach.

I believe they honor on-line prices now. In the past they did not. Just be prepared to bring in your smart phone or they can look it up on-line while there. Worked for me on my last purchase.

They have given me the online price in the store. But I did have to argue with them when they wanted to add the freight charges. I won.

I think you will find those are "web" specials not "store" specials! :(
