Camping World is no stranger to tough financial times and barely survived in recent times. No reason to be insulting to other posters. Imagine how much more successful CW would be if they were competitive and didn't have so many customers walking because of their prices.
Seems to be the opposite of ML profit strategy.
They are the biggest player in the market. They are applying the if you can't beat them buy them strategy and clearly with their pricing they are beating no one. Just praying on the first time buyer and/or those who don't know any better..
A CW general manager told me that are trying to change the market and not for the good. They are attempting to eliminate all the low price sellers and those posting prices online. They don't believe in the 25-30% off that some sellers give.
I'm just not sure what is with the wild swing in pricing. Granted they can do what they like, but I was looking at two items which would cost me approx. 1100 Dollars at CW, ordered them for just under $850 from other sources. Both are clearly making money on the items.
Listing their "normal" price higher then the MSRP and then listing it at a sales price as a few dollars less then MSRP is truly a scam.
IF you don't let know CW that there pricing is making many customers walk, then they won't change their ways.
$14 for non synthetic oil? Really is it magic oil? Do you get magic beans with it.
