You should be very happy that things turned out like they did. If you think buying from Camping World was difficult, just imagine what it would be like trying to get anything done after the sale!
There are many good locally owned RV dealerships left, find one to do business with. You will be better off.
Your story is not surprising. This forum is ripe with similar stories that ultimately get deleted. I have tried to support Camping World, but have finally given up. I can get any supplies cheaper with free shipping from Amazon or PPL. I have given this some thought, and watching Lemmonis on his TV show (yes, I know it is TV), I find him to be confrontational. It seems the same thing happens over and over at their stores. Last fall I visited a store close to me- the employees ignored me, busy with their own work, and when I asked for help, I was obviously a total bother and actually treated rudely. That contempt for the customer and confrontational style starts at the top and goes all the way down to the hourly clerk.
