The OP stated that he was offered a replacement rig at cost, but it turned out to be the same price as the RV show price, which obviously would'nt be at cost. You are verifying that he was told that.
An honest statement to him should have been to just state that you would honor the show price . That would be unfortunate but fair. The gift card was a nice gesture. However it was an unexcusable screw up.
Please dont expect us to believe that you would ever sell a rig at your actual cost with absolutely no profit. That is an insult to our intelligence.
