I'm sorry, with respect, I can not believe that statement. Maybe in the area you live, but many national chains distribute flyers and the local store does not stock every item. That is just a fact of retailing. That is the purpose of a rain check.

The difference is CW will tell you "we don't stock that item" ever. At least a retail store will have limited stock on hand, ie rain check. CW won't do that let alone honor a sale flyer price 99% of the time. That's the issue.

Recent experience. Surge guard sale flyer $259.99, out of stock, order it at store $259.99+$26 shipping. Online Web sale $222.99 free shipping with membership. Had to call to order it since Web site wouldn't reflect free shipping. Phone sales said free shipping only for $249.99 & up. He couldn't tell us where that fine print was. So I ordered two for a total off $444 (I'll show you I thought). He tells me it's free for a single item. Uh! Argued, "manager" approved $11.00 shipping for both. Argued more, but said what the hell it's a good price. One for me one for my parents (they'll pay me back ;). Now is that a way to run a business? No!
