Now just shop on the internet for the cheapest price for everything you need and avoid the experience.

Same as shopping in any large store (WalMart, Lowe's, Target, Home Depot, K-Marts, Sears) you have to find someone to talk to first so they know what you need. They all have other primary jobs and customers are first when you ask for help they know the products you need or can ask for a manager to help.

I prefer to ask for help when I need it rather than having sales staff bugging as you go through the store.

How will you know that they improve on customer service if you never go back? I guess a sales clerk will need to call you to tell you that everything is A-OK?

As others stated, I find it better to have to ask someone for help that for them bugging me and asking me all the time. They don't read minds. Most of the people don't need assistance. And then when they do, they ask for it.

I like the way ACE Hardware does it. When you enter the store someone asks if you need help. Many times I'll ask which aisle is xyz in, or I need a certain bolt. I agree I don't usually like people following me, but it's nice to have someone ask me once as I enter the store.

The staff at the La Mirada California store are most helpful and I find the customer service there excellent..

When I entered the store the first time I spoke to a cashier he said the lap sealent would be on the Monday truck, waited till Tuesday went back to the store spoke to a different cashier I ask her if she had dove white lap sealent instanly she said no without even going to the back and looking for it are checking the computer to see if it came in.If they are a Dicor supplier they should have this product. I understand you can run out but don't give your customer a run around.

My DW would never ask anyone where something is while I do and looking for something isn't my style unless I'm killing time. JMHO

Went into the RV dealer in Mocksville, NC and after 1/2 hour of looking for some help we left. All the sales people were no where to be seen. We left. Don't ask me the name of the RV dealer I didn't care enough to remember.
