There are literally dozens of ways to help with alignment. Dish pointer app for smart phones works well. Align a site us better because you do not need to level the tripod. Compass and bubble level can work. And for the hard core one of the 500 dollar sat meters like the direct techs use are readily available online. Initial setup for the uninformed can take time. But do it a couple times and it gets easier.
