The OP is receiving error 775 which has absolutely NOTHING to do with whether or not he has his dish pointing at a satellite. Error 775 is telling him that there is no communication between his receiver and his dish. He has a hardware connection problem. Not a signal problem.
Once he gets his receiver connected to his dish properly, then he can worry about finding the satellites.
