You guys are discussing what you know between your selves and the OP has gone. He is so confused by reading all this mix bag of info, with some good and some bad. Alot of what is posted here will not work. Remember this guy doesn't know anything about the set up menu, such as what dish he has. He is in a fog about how to make it work. He does not understand anything that is being offered to him. He needs help from a Directv installer and just pay the cost of activation. A big problem with this is that DirecTV does not do installations on RVs. Rv shop need to install what you tell them to install. The only thing RV installers know is how to install an RV sat. dish that they sell on an RV. Making it work with your receiver and TV is another thing.
