Now THAT'S something I hadn't realized.
It's W7 Home Premium SP1.
I have the 25 character key on the sticker but when I go to the Microsoft page they say "This appears to be software that was preloaded by the manufacturer. Contact them for support".
Even if I manage to get an english Windows from HP, will I be able to install it without destroying data and program files? I'm pretty sure the person to whom this PC belonged didn't create recovery DVDs (but they would have been in Spanish anyway).
