Cellphone Booster!!!
CB is very short range. Not very useful. Nothing can beat Ham radio. However, only licensed operator on both ends can use it.
Cellphone Booster with Verizon service is really good. I had one spot in Yellowstone where I had no service (near Fishing Bridge). I have service across Washington State, Idaho, Montana, North/South Dakota and Wyoming. On very rare occasions I would have a one or two mile stretch with no service. The booster tech is awesome (when installed correctly).
I have a CB and Ham license. I rarely use either. The cellphone booster I use can power upto 4 cellular devices at one time. There are cheaper options. Booster tech is not magic. You will find areas it will not work. I'm using Wilson Electronics gear. They have since changed their name to Weboost.
