I also use Verizon, and on plans out of Tampa Bay, FL it seems you can only access internet on the slower network with voice plans. I tried the higher speed access then spent 30 minutes on the phone with tech support. Finally they came back and told me I did not have high speed internet access turned on. If I wanted it it would be $49 per month ADDITIONAL PLUS extra per minute use. Does not use voice minutes.
Air card was cheaper at $79 with unlimited minutes, but less coverage and more startup costs.
Man is it slow. Feels worse than my first 2400 baud modem!
