Add on question for this. In my area Verizon is by far the predominant player. ATT did put a tower in, but chose a location which makes their coverage spotty.
I tried getting an ATT unlimited phone plan and got decent data speeds, but the phone was barely able to function as a phone throughout the house.
LTE Data was good, voice was poor so I dropped it and went to The VeriZone.
On the connected car programs, I was too late to get the Mobley deal when it was available, the ATT tower was not up. But now they have the Harman spark units which would still give web access. M y car is parked 10 feet from my bedroom window, how far do these connected car units work from OBD jack to whatever device you are using?
