The way I read your test, is that you did a test for that specific location. If you were to move to a different location, miles away, your information could and should be different. This is the same reason that some cell services work in some areas of town and some don't.
Your test was not a comparison test for Verizon vs. AT&T, but for location. To do a proper test, you would need to find a Verizon tower and test your Upload/Download speed, such as how Joe is doing it.

Yeah, I realize that it wasn't a general test on overall speed between both networks. I'm just saying that where I live at that time there was a significant difference in speed. And my son did do a test on a nearby Verizon tower to get that speed while I tested an AT&T tower.
