Charger shuts off radio
When I plug in my lap top charger in the same room with the radio it shuts off the reception but if I move the lap top and charger to another location in the camper the radio works just fine...

Depends on the charger Most likely the problem is that your labtop's charger is a switching power supply, these can be electronically "Noisy" and can cause RFI. There are solutions.. But the simplest one is plug in in a different room.
