That is exactly why I have a router in the trailer... (have not used it yet, but am planning so I have it when needed). I will be able to connect my router to internet source (phone hotspot if needed or local wifi), but if not needing internet, still have a secure wifi network in my trailer... I also plan to add wifi camera and be able to monitor in trailer with tablet in vehicle connected to trailer wifi.... lots of options, not sure how it will look in the end.. I have seen mods on trailers where the router and cabling was all mounted inside cabinet and secure.
