5th Wheel,
I have done exactly what you are looking to do and it's very easy.
My Samsung printer has google cloud print built into it. I configured it and can print to it from anywhere including standing right next to it. That's the first step.
I also configured my printer to work as a regular print driver from my laptops. Therefore, if I'm on the same network as the printer, it simply prints to the printer.
Don't be discouraged. Just get a cloud print capable printer and you'll be able to attach it to your cellular MIFI access point and print to it from the computers or devices also connected to the MIFI access point. Even if your computer devices aren't connected to the MIFI, you'll be able to print through the internet.
The key is that once you've connected your printer to the access point, leave it configured that way and have the access point on when you want to print. It is a PITA to reconfigure the printer for every new router, camp wifi, or access point you'd like to use for internet access.
If you really want to simplify your setup, spend an extra $100 and get a Pepwave Surf on the go. It will act as your access point and you can connect the surf to the internet via camp wifi, cellular modem or ethernet. That way, you only have to setup the surf at each location but your devices remain connected to the surf at all times.
