Co Pilot Android App

If you try to use the app, review your route VERY carefully. Doing 2 test routes in RV mode netted me some serious errors.
Routed me over a bridge that never existed, sent me over business 41 in Fl. rather than on 75, and sent me on the Balt.Wash. Parkway that is restricted to cars.

CoPilot went right to the Uninstall can.

Your results may vary.

ANY GPS can make those mistakes, they ARE NOT "INFALLIBLE".

It is why one should not depend solely on a GPS but use ones brains along with a maps and road signs.

All to easy to let the GPS box tell you what to do, then blame the GPS when something goes wrong..
The fact that these errors were so bad compared to other GPS units was the reason I mentioned it.
S&T 2011 & 2014, Google, Maps.ME,2 other free map apps and even TomTom did not have this mystery bridge or bizarre routing.
I did double check the settings.

I've been using Co-pilot for years fulltime RVING with the RV setting and now the Truck version and it has worked great. As stated make sure you have it setup correctly.

I used it a couple of times, but only for the truck and not the RV. Be sure you have the settings correct. I do know that the height only goes up to 13 feet clearance, so that is very bad if you have a taller RV as I do. Any GPS will have some problems, but they should not be that serious. Like I said check your settings. By the way, how did you get across the bridge that did not exist.

One time before GPS my wife and I were following a map where the road led into the water. We did not realize this until we got near that area. We thought the map was in error, but found out there was a ferry that took you across, not noted on the map.
