Coaxial cable

Are all coaxial cables equal? Thinking of getting a cable to hook up my RV to campground boxes, is one better than the other. And what's the suggested length. Don't know if signal deteriorates with a longer vs shorter length. Space is king in our unit, so size does matter. And price isn't always a marker of quality.
