connecting a droid to a tablet
The DW wants either an Ipad or other tablet and I'm thinking that I could hook it to my Bionic to use a a larger screen for my GPS. Is this possible?

There are GPS navigation apps that do not need data to function. They will load the maps to the tablet memory, including Google Maps when you preplan a route you can have it download all required maps before leaving. Also as stated above, Copilot and Sygic store the whole country's maps on the tablet like a standalone GPS. With any of these you are navigating with a map screen and moving vehicle icon also just like a standalone GPS.
