If you want "reliable" wifi, use your phone hot-spot. If you use the internet a lot, pay the price and get an unlimited data plan. It's the only way to be somewhat sure you'll always have an internet connection. We have an unlimited plan (both or phones), because we also do a lot of work-from-home, and when our internet goes down at home, we can flip over to our phone hot-spots. Also, because we also do a lot of work from home, we'll often take off in the middle of the week for a few days and work from a campground. Our phone hot spot is the only reliable one we've had.
