Cables from the antenna run to the receiver and the receiver connects to the TV via HDMI. The OTA antenna connects as it always did via coax. The coax connections either need to be dedicated connections or isolated via an A/B switch but the SWM and OTA signal cannot be shared by one coax simultaneously.
