Coupon expiration

during the meet and greet at the Rally in Atlanta, Marcus was asked about extending the expiration date for coupons. He stated that he and others had discussed various time frames, but that he didn't want Camping World Coupons to become like Bed Bath and Beyond and be kept forever. I have to agree with the questioner in asking for a bit more time. I arrived home from the Rally to find a coupon in my mail that had come and expired during the time I was at the Rally. I understand that it was for a specific event at a specific store (Dothan, AL), but living 90 miles away from any Camping World makes it difficult to get to the store when the coupon is only good for 5-6 days. Please consider having coupons good for two weeks at least, so that those of us who don't live close to a store, can take advantage of them.
  • Coupons should have a life of more than a few days unless they are a deep discount or for a high demand item rarely discounted. That way a level of urgency is created.
  • Thank you for considering extending coupons a few days. I just thought it was an interesting coincidence that the coupon arrived while I was attending the Rally and you were asked about coupon expiration there.

Normally yes, but as the OP mentioned, it was for a specific event at a specific store. Not necessarily a CW system wide discount.
  • We're full timers and only get our mail once a month. So for us, by the time we get coupons, they have been expired for weeks. :(
