Dash Cam for Mexico & USA

Just bought two of these, http://www.ebay.com/itm/HD-1080P-Dash-Car-DVR-Cam-Vehicle-Camera-IR-LED-Night-Vision-Blackbox-GS1000-/370771045932?pt=US_Surveillance_Digital_Video_Recorders_Cards&hash=item5653ad2e2c. Had tons of users/purchasers on another thread in Tech Issues of this site. Just thought it was time to add another level of insurance to my trips. Will leave one in the Motorhome and one in the Toad which is also our daily driver everywhere.     just ordered a different one from Amazon since I don't do paypal,etc. $17.49 with 12.95 16GB SD card for 30.44, over $25 includes free shipping. noticed on some of the writeups for various ones that some don't have night vision but this one does.
    I mean for $17.49 what could go wrong? :)

    No, just ordered this morning. My thought also for $40 I can't be hurt, plus the feedback on the unit is excellent. On the other tread in Tech, check the link above, the OP has a link to a Youtube video he posted from his dash cam which is the same as the ones I purchased.

    I've been seriously thinking about getting one of these for our journeys. In addition to having it for an accident, there are other things that are interesting on the road such as wildlife crossing, etc. Have you tried this unit out yet? I guess you can't go wrong for $40.

    I don't know much about dash cams but, I think they are a good idea.
