What difference, if any, is there between watching a one hour video on my android phone or using it as a hotspot to watch the same show on my smart television?

Why do you assume that a person with thirty years experience with computers does not know how to do a search? People that ask questions about Streaming, Data, and ROKU, probably know how to type into a search engine. If you don't know the answer, don't try to answer it by telling people to "Do a search".
