DC tv power plug?
I just bought a new Samsung television I want to convert to DC. Does anyone know what size the barrel plug is on this thing? It's not 2.1 mm, or at least a 2.1 mm jack is too small to fit the port. ...

Cut the end off whatever power brick it came with. Use a multimeter to determine polarity, and then wire it to your new 12v source.
2.1 and 2.5 are the common sizes, but to mess with consumers, they sometimes change the inside conductor post diameter as well.
