In Mexico, broken glass, a crushed Tecate can and straightened nails are "standard stuff". Anything above that is nuclear fission grade tech. Never looked at a MICRO to see which are the power wires.
Going to the charge control, which of the two wires is which polarity. They are dead until current flows and the Micro make cable end is awful small to probe.
This is the reason I elected to choose the "tap directly into the battery wires" route. But if someone has the correct female MICRO receptacle with correctly oriented pigtail I'd definitely choose that route. Didn't know an industry wiring code exited for these gizmos. Live and learn :)
