Difference between NiCad and NiMH batteries
My fence post tops for the steps to my permanently parked travel trailer have 2 solar powered led lights with rechargeable - AA NiCad batteries. Do I have to replace those batteries (one is no good)...

Thank you Corkey. I think I will just stick with the original type NiCad batteries. Seems that the NiMH give a little bit more charge per battery and that is why I was asking. Thought maybe they were a later improvement or something.
