For in-motion I would recommend the Mission. For stationary I would recommend the Mini-Max (it's not a glorified Carryout, it IS a Carryout. One is roof mounted one is portable)
There are heavier duty motors in the Mission which should extend its life for in-motion user as an in-motion antenna never stops moving the entire time the RV is moving. There are also no limit switches in this unit eliminating another possible failure point. In this unit and when the rotation hit the hard stop and must reverse the motors have a clutch which allows slippage and during the brief period the software reads and amperage increase and causes the unit to reverse direction.
Both work very well and should give you excellent service. You will lose service every time you go past a close tree, light pole, bridge or make a sharp turn in a parking area but the picture comes back quickly.
