Most DirecTV antennas have a jack for an ANT in (OTA antenna) in addition to the LNB jack.. If that does not work you can put an A/B Switch in the line.

In the case that wa8yxm described, there is indeed a simple diplexer used at the antenna and another diplexer used in the coax behind the receiver. Both Dish and DTV can do this to allow
one coax to be used to get from the antenna to the receiver carrying the sat signals and also the OTA signals. I posted above that I did not know if this is done on RV antennas.
I took the OP's statement of 12 Volts as being correct - my bad. I have never had DTV. Only have Dish...
I've had Dish for many, many years. In those days, Dish had no local installers. You bought your receiver(s) and Dish on-line or by phone and installed it your self. My nearly 20 year old installation has two coaxes running to each receiver and one OTA coax running to each receiver. With the use of both current day Diplexers and Separators there would simply be one coax from the antenna for each receiver.
Sorry for any confusion I caused.
