Thank you all for the advice. I'm glad I asked before purchasing. After a lot of research I find the advice to look at a Dish Network pay as you go plan to be the best deal.
The specific equipment I'm looking at is the VIP221z receiver and the Winegard X2 automatic antenna.
We only have one tv in our 5'er so I do not care about one satellite at a time, it is not an issue for us. We do want local service.
We are looking at the bundled package on www.dishformyrv.com for $544. Camping world has the same package. Who should I buy from Dish or Camping world?
One of the things that concerns me is that the RG6 coax cable is only 25ft long. There are times when I would need an additional 100 ft of coax.
Does anyone have a recommendation for a vendor of low loss coax cable?
My last question is how did the sign up and initialization of the equipment go?
Once again, thank you for all the advise. Don
