Problem solved - we purchased a Dish Network ViP211z & a Winegard PATHFINDER X2 antenna. It meets our 1 tv need perfectly. I asked if they would match the online price, and they said most certainly.
We will go with Dish Networks monthly pay as you go plan. I really appreciate the advise given by all.
I hope to meet some of you as we travel here in the NW.
