Direct TV dish setup?
When setting up a DT TV dish, I want to check the OEM degree settings. Do you set up using the face of the dish, meaning taking a 6' level and setting it across the the dish face at the 12/6 Oclock...

I was concerned about dust/corrision getting into the Lnb ports/heads etc and wanted to know if leaving a couple of inches of the old cable that is still attached to these UNUSED ports and then sealing off the ends of these cable with Goop/rubber cement to PREVENT any corrision starting.
I have 2 different LnB heads,which are,
1 - Multi-satellite Lnb head/dish (DirecTV Brand)
2 - Slimline SWM LnB head/dish (DirecTV brand)
On the Multi-satellite Lnb head,
there is 4 ports that have cables attached to them. I am using just the left hand port for SD reception.
On the SWM Lnb head there is ONLY the left hand port that has the cable attached, (NONE of the other 3 ports are threaded etc).
