Direct TV
Took my direct tv dish on the road and of course I can't my local channels. I don't want to buy more equipment. Is there a way to get around this or get the major channels somehow else. Thanks, Dave
I do get the local channels out of Los Angeles, but I am at my residence. My understanding is if I am somewhere else, lets say a thousand miles away I would have to pay an extra 15 dollars to get the local channels. I will just use the bat wings then to get the local channels. I am not going to pay for that service.

How much money per month did your bill go down when you did that?

I had locals and DNS for a couple years before I actually looked at a bill and discovered it. I told them to stop the locals and refund my money since that was illegal anyway. They only gave me 3 months' worth of money back. I couldn't prove I never watched locals.

I filled out the paper work to transfer my home service to RV service with DirecTV. May be easier for most than it was for me. I had to describe six locations in my RV that had tv's. The person who accepted my paper work must have been very busy that day but my service is for RV and I have DNS.

I have DNS and still have my locals. I do have an RV account since I full time.
