According to the DTV site I just went to, it's not restore or reactivate. It's this:
"Select the receiver or device you'd like to reauthorize and click Continue. You can reauthorize only one at a time. What if reauthorization doesn't fix the problem?"
They do sometimes use the word 'refresh'.
