Like I said, the RV came with $2500 worth of equipment I'd like to use. And the Trav'ler is set up for DirecTV. It would cost another $800 to switch to Dish.
Yeah, I can get OTA stations...but that's not the issue. The issue is that I travel, and I want to figure out how to get those national network stations off my satellite before my next trip. That's what I thought satellite is for. So I can go anywhere and still get ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, etc. from LA.
The difference in SD and HD is inconsequential to me. I'm happy with either res.
