Directv DVR continuously resetting when no signal from sat

I think I finally found a way to get Directv's attention regarding this situation: Problem: You can no longer watch prerecorded programs stored on your DVR when you can't get a signal from the sat...

I also just encountered the same issue with an HR24. They don't want you using your DVR as a DVR. You need to be connected to the sat so they can send their unending and constantly increasing advertising.
Just another way for them to be sure you can spend more $ with them.
Their new colored ads in the guide really p--- me off.
