Directv DVR continuously resetting when no signal from sat

I think I finally found a way to get Directv's attention regarding this situation: Problem: You can no longer watch prerecorded programs stored on your DVR when you can't get a signal from the sat...

My bet is that you will never get to them. If you do, then try to get one who cares about your problem. And then one with the authority to fix it by making a new software revision.
I also strongly believe it is a planned software feature to feed you more advertising and block use of your DVR. They built in very specific timing parameters for a reason.
