Directv DVR continuously resetting when no signal from sat

I think I finally found a way to get Directv's attention regarding this situation: Problem: You can no longer watch prerecorded programs stored on your DVR when you can't get a signal from the sat...

Just wanted to check that my new Genie (HR44) worked the same as my others and I have been watching my recorded programming for over 15 minutes with my Trav'ler stowed.
What I did notice previously with this DVR is that it did not play well with my modified sine wave inverter and showed similar issues to what you are describing with periodic resets which I never timed. Is there any chance that this issue is happening while you are running off and inverter?
