Directv DVR continuously resetting when no signal from sat

I think I finally found a way to get Directv's attention regarding this situation: Problem: You can no longer watch prerecorded programs stored on your DVR when you can't get a signal from the sat...

so if you take your DVR from your house to the RV. how are you to keep power on it.....what, hook it to a long extension cord and drive down the street to the trailer????
That won't work either, you still have to unplug it to plug it in to the trailer. So you have to hook up your dish to the DVR and get it going before you leave, then leave the inverter on while driving.....don't think so.

I hope they get it fixed soon!
