Directv DVR continuously resetting when no signal from sat

I think I finally found a way to get Directv's attention regarding this situation: Problem: You can no longer watch prerecorded programs stored on your DVR when you can't get a signal from the sat...

I wish you the best. I don't believe that anyone at DTV really cares but if they do "fix" this issue I will stand at your side and bow down. I have seen this same issue for as many years as I have owned a DTV DVR and that's about 6 or 7 years.
