That is very interesting because this is the first time I have encountered this problem and I have been with them since 1994. My dad also RVs and has watched prerecorded programming for years, in fact I installed my old manual dish in his RV last year, till then he had no access to a satellite except at home. You must be one unlucky guy.
This issue is costing Directv time, money and equipment. Why would they not fix the problem? I can assure you they did not create this just to give techs something to do. I am not trying to defend Directv because I have been very frustrated at times with them, but they are a business and will act like a business. Just be glad this is not government run...then I would agree with you!
