Directv DVR continuously resetting when no signal from sat

I think I finally found a way to get Directv's attention regarding this situation: Problem: You can no longer watch prerecorded programs stored on your DVR when you can't get a signal from the sat...

Thanks for all of your diligence!

One question, maybe I read it wrong, but does that mean that after the new update, the receiver will still do an automatic reboot after 12 hours without sat. reception?
