It will only work for 12 hours, then start resetting again. The way I understood it the rollout later this summer will stop the resetting of the DRV when there is no sat signal, period. They understand the increased call load the resting issue is, and will continue to cause. Also imaging what it would be like after a Huricane passes through and all the dishes are knocked out of alignment, can you imaging the call load and the pissed customers who's DVRs are resetting every six minutes?
