Well I just confirmed the 12 hour reset. We are currently camping in central Oregon and after 3 days of having the satellite dish up and recording programming we lowered the dish due to high winds. We were able to watch prerecorded content for about 12 hours then the DVR started resetting. The VP from Directv warned me of this problem when I talked to him and now it is confirmed. It is going to be a rough summer for Directv users until this problem gets resolved. Directv really needs to have an RVer on their development team so we can avoid these problems.
